ipad Mini with retina display issuse update

A report now claims that the new iPad mini's LCD panel, which is made by Sharp, is in short supply due to problems with its advanced IGZO(indium gallium zinc oxide) based display technology which is employed in its TFT panel.

A percentage of the new iPad mini's displays are also being procured from LG display but problems are being encountered with the ones produced by Sharp, the report elaborates.

Apple and its partners will need to find a solution to fix the burn-in issue to settle problems with supplies. Apple could also be looking at changing the display's supplier and could even talk to Samsung, which had  supplied the Retina display for the first Retina iPad.

The new iPad mini features a 7.9-inch Retina display with a resolution of 2048x1536 pixels (on par with the iPad) and pixel density of 326ppi. It's powered by a 64-bit A7 chip which also powers the new iPhone 5s, offering up to four times faster CPU performance and up to eight times faster graphics performance than the previous generation iPad mini.

                                                         FETURES

  • 5.7-inch 1920x1080 screen
  • Faux-leather back
  • LTE/4G
  • Snapdragon Quad-core 2.3 GHz Krait 400
  • 3GB of RAM
  • 13-megapixel rear camera
  • 32/64GB internal storage
  • Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS
  • 'Air Command' controls pop-up when you use the S-Pen

DISPLAY QUALITY
The Galaxy Note 3 comes with a full-HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels packing 386 pixels per inch.

The Galaxy Note 3's display, is among the best displays we've seen so far. In our use, we found that text, images and videos appear extremely sharp, with vibrant colours. Reading text and browsing the web was also a pleasant experience. Just like the Galaxy S4, Samsung offers what it calls Adapt Display, to optimise colours according to ambient light conditions. You can choose between four manual modes (Dynamic, Standard, Professional Photo and Movie) and automatic modes if you select the Adapt Display option. The phone also offers the option to adjust the screen tone automatically to conserve battery power.

The display was not very reflective and sunlight legibility was great. The viewing angles on the phone are excellent.

The Note 3's big full-HD display enhances the user experience by leaps and bounds.

                                                              SOFTWEAR
While some people prefer stock Android to any kind of skinning, Samsung's TouchWiz UI has been panned for employing big, glossy and cartoon-like icons and menus. The intent might be to make the UI user-friendly, but it ends up looking anything but pleasant. The Galaxy Note 3's UI has been optimised for the S Pen, a stylus that offers enhanced functionality with the device's built-in digitiser.

SONY SMARTWATCH

                 SONY SMARTWATCH

DISPLAY QUALITY
which is both bright and extremely saturated, is downright sexier. The Gear's screen is also sharper, with a 320x320-pixel resolution (1.6-inch).
FEATURES
With the SmartWatch linked to not just my Sony smartphone but other Android devices, I was able to receive alerts for texts, calls, and social-media updates right on my wrist. The SmartWatch 2 looks to have the same sort of communication capabilities, and like Sony's prior device is designed to support practically any Android handset. Essentially if your phone runs Android version 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich or higher, you should be covered.
Additionally, the SmartWatch 2 can control your phone's music player, so you won't have to fish out your mobile device from bags or pockets when changing the volume or skipping to the next track.
A new capability Sony has added to the SmartWatch 2 is NFC circuitry. NFC hardware is designed to let the watch pair with compatible devices quickly, merely by tapping it briefly against the handset. After this, the SmartWatch 2 should link up with phones via its wireless Bluetooth connection.

             HTC LATEST SMARTPHONE

The Taiwanese-made model also won the T3 design award and the phone of the year accolade at a ceremony in London.

It beat the Apple iPhone 5 and the Samsung Galaxy S4 in the phone of the year category, chipping at the dominance held by both technology giants.
However Apple won computer and tablet of the year and Samsung took the brand of the year title, while Sony won digital camera and television of the year.

Michael Acton Smith, who co-founded entertainment company Mind Candy, which created Moshi Monsters toys, was awarded for his outstanding contribution to technology

APPLE,S NEW TABLET AIR INFOEMETION

                 APPLE,S NEW TABLET AIR

Google Nexus 5

              Google Nexus 5

Smart look Quality
Nexus 5 looks like a big old slab of glass. There are virtually no distinguishing characteristics. Viewed from the front, the speaker grill is its only visible cue. The power and volume buttons are ceramic, and so subtle that you can overlook them. It feels like it should be called the SLABFON. The backside is the same deal — a slick plastic that comes in black or white. It can be hard to hold onto. I dropped one of our test units pulling it out of my pocket, and it fell onto the sidewalk, cracking the glass. One of our other testers reported he had dropped it in similar fashion several times as well. So yeah, you may want to invest in a case.

NEW SMART FEATURES
The camera fires up really quickly, and the swipe from lockscreen feature is a super fast way to start shooting. Meanwhile, the Google+ integration is amazing. You can set it to automatically upload your pictures to Google+, where it will organize them, automatically enhance them, and even pick out your best shots.
You may have previously used to the Auto-awesome photos feature in Google+ to turn boring old still images into LOL-tastic GIFs. The new Auto-awesome videos feature, which runs in the Photos app but also has Google+ integration, goes even further. It’s completely transcendent. It works largely the same way in that you don’t have to do a thing to make a fantastic video out of a bunch of banal little snapshots. (See below.) Google literally does all the work, from image selection, to editing, to adding the music and Instagram-ish filters (you can override its choices). It’s straight up rad. You’re going to love it.

The bottom line on this phone is that it’s very nice, very fast, has a very sensitive touchscreen, and pretty great battery life (we repeatedly clocked more than 9 hours with moderate to heavy use, and more than 12 when using it casually). It’s also a pretty great deal for an unlocked phone at $349 for the 16 GB, and $399 for the 32 GB. The screen is gorgeous. The camera is flawed. The photo processing is fantastic. It’s loaded up with Google brains. And mostly, it does a great job of just disappearing like a good phone should.

Sony  Xperia Z...All features ANd Quality

                  Battery backup and processor

This advanced quad core processor gives you maximum performance and speed without draining your battery – run multiple apps simultaneously, surf the web with no loading time, and stream videos without a break. The Snapdragon S4 Pro processor is asynchronous, which means each core is powered up and down independently.

                                                 Best Quality in camera
HDR for photos and videos captures natural colours in any light. HDR (High Dynamic Range) is an imaging technology used to capture clear photos against strong backlight. With HDR, the camera captures the same image at different exposure levels and layers them to create one optimised photo.
Xperia Z introduces HDR to video, so that you can film even in high contrast situations, like in front of a window or with the sun behind your subject.

                                                Smart look

The design is focused on creating balance and symmetry in all directions. Xperia Z has subtly rounded edges and smooth, reflective surfaces on all sides, which are held together by an innovative skeleton frame.
with a seamless surface. Together with enhanced reflection coating on the top, bottom and sides, Xperia Z actually mirrors the world around you. OmniBalance design balances technology vs. design, letting you get so totally immersed in the content that the hardware disappears.

                                   Super slim

We’ve eliminated a layer of air and brought the display closer to the lens, for added touch sensitivity and a smaller size. This construction, along with a new component layout and skeleton frame allows for a slimness of 7.9 mm.

iPhone 5c supports more networks than ever before. So now, even more people can experience fast download and upload speeds. Meanwhile, the number of carriers supported by iPhone throughout the world continues to grow. So when you’re travelling, you can take advantage of ultra-fast networks in more places.

The 8MP iSight camera delivers startlingly sharp photo quality thanks to features like a sophisticated five‑element lens. And panorama, which lets you get stunning high‑resolution shots of things like packed football stadiums. The Scottish Highlands. Or the marching band your friend hired to play “Happy Birthday” outside your window.
iPhone 5c also comes with a new Camera app that raises your photography game. Now you can shoot images in a square format. And choose from eight live filters that can be applied before or after you take your photo. Use the Instant filter to give a group shot at the beach a vintage colour look. Make a sunset even more vivid with the Chrome filter. Or choose Noir to capture a self-portrait in dramatic black and white.

                                        H.D video Quality
Video image stabilisation helps smooth out shaky footage from your high‑adrenaline moments. (Running of the Bulls, anyone?) Face detection for up to 10 faces makes sure nobody gets lost in the crowd. And the ability to take still photos while recording video comes in handy when you want to tell that story within a story.

NEW FRUNT HD CAMERA
iPhone 5c comes with a new FaceTime HD camera. Larger pixels and an improved backside illumination sensor give it increased sensitivity in low light — great for, say, letting your friends back in the UK experience a California sunset with you. You can also make audio‑only FaceTime calls with clearer sound than even wideband audio. 2
